Compensation:$50.00-55.00 per hour and up (DOE)

Your Impact & Responsibilities:

• Clinical Implementation:Work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality therapeutic services and restorative interventions.
• Functional Training:Deliver skilled treatments focusing on ADLs, functional mobility, and compensatory strategies to improve resident independence.
• Progress Tracking:Monitor and document resident progress accurately and timely in accordance with California state and federal guidelines.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration:Communicate effectively with the OT, nursing staff, and medical team regarding resident status and discharge goals.
• Resident Advocacy:Educate residents and their families on home programs, safety practices, and the use of adaptive equipment.
• Environment:Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented therapy department focused on resident-centered results.

Qualifications:

• Licensure:Current, validCalifornia Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)license in good standing.
• Skills:Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive within a multidisciplinary team.
