We are expanding our network of Registered Dietitians to deliver expert, compassionate virtual care for individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause transitions. By joining Pomelo, you will have the autonomy to set your own schedule while being part of our multi-specialty care model. Unlike standalone nutrition platforms, our patients receive care from a dedicated medical provider, a registered dietitian, and a therapist. You will deliver a cohesive, holistic care model that drives superior patient experience and outcomes. As part of the Pomelo network, you will: Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients experiencing midlife and menopausal transitions. Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team—including the patient‘s dedicated medical provider and therapist—to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan that drives superior patient outcomes. Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes, manage symptoms, and enhance overall well-being. Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition changes, bone health, and gut health. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform. What we‘re looking for: National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with a license to practice in any US state. *Candidates licensed in multiple states are highly encouraged to apply. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling. Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week. Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR). Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care. Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have): Experience or strong clinical interest in supporting patients with: Conditions of metabolic syndrome Weight loss and body composition changes Osteopenia/osteoporosis Gut health concerns, including bloating, IBS, and elimination diets Anti-inflammatory eating patterns Why Join Pomelo Care: Competitive Compensation: $60.00 per active visit hour, pay for no-shows, and caseload bonuses (up to $50/week) Onboarding Bonus: $250, paid after completing your first visit Multi-Specialty Collaboration: You won‘t practice in a silo; you‘ll work alongside dedicated medical providers and therapists to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. Your clinical judgment remains independent and focused solely on patient outcomes, and you can deep dive into a specialized women’s health role. Focus on Care, Not Admin: We handle filling your schedule, credentialing, and billing, and we provide AI documentation tools to streamline your charting. Total Flexibility: You control your schedule. Choose the days and times you are available to accept patient visits. Clinical Community & Support: Optional provider forums and case consultations to support your professional growth. Free Continuing Education: Earn Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) to maintain your CDR credentials at no cost through internal learning sessions. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and is not an employment (W-2) position.
