Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity to work with patients across a range of mental health needs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.Compensation: 159,000-203,000Position HighlightsSpecialty: Psychiatry / Behavioral HealthLocation: Sierra Vista, ArizonaEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditionsProvide medication management and ongoing psychiatric careDevelop individualized treatment plansCollaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other members of the care teamMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsDiagnose and manage a variety of mental health conditionsPrescribe and manage psychiatric medications as appropriateMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessaryProvide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment optionsCoordinate care with other healthcare providers and community resourcesMaintain compliance with applicable clinical, legal, and regulatory requirementsQualificationsMaster's or Doctoral degree in NursingCurrent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certificationActive Arizona Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility for licensureCurrent DEA registration, as required
