Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through evaluation of imaging tests and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide support during surgeries, including preparing the OR, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments
• Offer exceptional care before and after surgery, handling medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strongly preferred completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practices

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications necessary
• Necessary state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
