Director of Information Technology

Senior IT & Cybersecurity Leadership | Aerospace / Defense Manufacturing

We are partnering with a highly respected U.S.-based advanced manufacturing organization serving the aerospace and defense sector on a critical senior leadership search.

This role will lead enterprise IT, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and security operations within a complex, highly regulated environment supporting government and defense-related programs.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading enterprise IT infrastructure, systems, cloud environments, and digital transformation initiatives

• Driving cybersecurity strategy and compliance aligned with NIST 800-171, CMMC, and related frameworks

• Protecting sensitive technical and operational data across secure environments

• Managing risk assessments, incident response, audit readiness, and security controls

• Overseeing facility and information security programs within a regulated manufacturing setting

• Partnering cross-functionally with executive leadership, operations, HR, quality, and government stakeholders

Ideal background:

• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience

• Strong cybersecurity and compliance expertise in a regulated environment

• Experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or government contracting environments preferred

• Knowledge of CMMC, NIST frameworks, export-controlled data, and secure operations highly valued

• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
