Quick Facts: Location: 400 North 17th Street, Allentown, PA 18104 Start Date: 09/16/2025 End Date: 12/16/2025 Shift: Wednesday & Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Day shift) Hours per week: Approximately 16 hours (2 days/week) Employment Type: Contract (temporary) Licenses/Certifications: PA State License, Board Certified in Optometry, Active DEA if prescribing medication Experience: At least 2 years preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $119.35 Pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2 employees) Paid sick time in accordance with legal requirements Licensure, certification, travel and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 support team dedicated to your success What You'll Do: Perform comprehensive eye exams and assessments Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed Educate patients about eye health and preventive care Document findings accurately in EMR system Collaborate with onsite staff to ensure quality patient care Assist with clinic routines and patient flow management What You Need: Valid Pennsylvania Optometry license Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in optometry Excellent communication skills; Spanish-speaking preferred Highly reliable and punctual Drive-in candidate or local to Allentown (client does not cover travel costs) Ability to commit primarily on Wednesdays and Fridays, with potential for additional hours About the Assignment: Join a leading facility in Allentown as they launch a new clinic dedicated to high-quality vision care.
