Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to provide exceptional perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be versatile, dependable, and able to adapt to varied shift schedules and call requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Assist in the OR as a 2nd scrub nurse during CVOR procedures.
• Provide intraoperative care, monitoring patient vitals and responding to surgical team needs.
• Support post-operative recovery and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Respond promptly to call requirements, including weekends, weeknights, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, licensing hit disclosures, and hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CVOR registered nurse license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular operative nursing and scrub techniques.
• Possess current, unexpired driver's license with willingness to submit copy.
• Be capable of working 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to respond within a 30-minute response window.
• Be flexible to work critical call shifts, including weekends, holidays, and urgent needs.
