This position will be located on site daily in Melbourne, FL.Essential Functions:Establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduledAssessment and maintenance of objective performance criteriaMaintenance and justifications of estimates to completeSupport to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysisBudget baselineFunding analysisCost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reportsPreparation of government cost performance reports and preparationReview of performance measurement variance analysisDevelopment and analysis of estimates to completeThe analyst will be responsible for preparing month-end reportsReviewing EAC' changes; validating the incorporation of changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain Major Subcontract/GP cost and schedule baselinesAssist analysts' supporting CAMs for EVMS activities including: WBS alignment, time phasing of the tasks, developing and documenting earned value methodologies, monthly performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis and updates, and variance analysis research and reportingSupport monthly cost and schedule reviews, identify pressures and opportunities, and develop recovery plans as requiredThe ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities:Ability to use financial systems, with understanding of DoD financial rhythmsDevelop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexityAnalyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniquesWork under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focusExert influence on peers and internal customersGood interpersonal skills while representing the finance team on various projectsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in the following areas: business, finance, accounting, program control and/or similar industry related fields OR Master's degree with 6 years experience in the following areas: business, finance, accounting, program control and/or similar industry related fieldsExperience with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPointExperience with Business systems (SAP S4, Cobra) and using Cobra in a Government Earned Value Management rhythmExperience with Earned Value Management Systems, Financial forecastingExperience with EVMS or government cost reportingExperience successfully supporting a monthly financial forecasting rhythmYour ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret Clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the companyPreferred Qualifications:Experience with the AOP (annual operating plan) and LRSP (long range strategic plan) processesUnderstanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FARCandidate has the ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations to management for resolution of mitigationWe offer flexible work arrangements, phenomenal learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a very friendly team environment. We also offer exceptional benefits/healthcare, a 9/80 schedule, and a great 401K matching program.Primary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
