Locums | Interventional Cardiology | Clinic + Call | Tucson, AZ (IMLC accepted)### Why This Role

  • Quick credentialing (~14 days) with temporary privileges available
  • Balanced inpatient + outpatient cardiology practice
  • Consistent volume with manageable patient load
  • Ongoing coverage with potential schedule flexibility
    • ### Assignment Details
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: Ongoing
  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
  • Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
  • Schedule:
    • - Clinic + hospital coverage - Call required (beeper call)
  • Call Details:
    • - Response Time: 45 minutes - Call Ratio: 1:1
  • EMR: Cerner, Athena
  • Patients per Shift: ~10
  • Beds: 44
    • ### Requirements
  • Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist
  • Active AZ license or IMLC
  • Fellowship trained
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ABLS
  • Clean malpractice history
    • ### Clinical Details
  • Mix of inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic
  • Interventional cardiology procedures required
  • Admissions and consults
  • Supported by RNs and MAs
    • ### Compensation
  • Rate: Facility is accepting bids
  • Malpractice: Included
