HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

NBO: 16 hrs

OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier

Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

UNIT Info

• Patients/Scans per day: 4
• Equipment: Artis Zee c-arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector
• Types of Patients: peripheral/coronary angio, PCI, pacemaker procedures
• Scrubs: hospital provided, light blue

Orientation Dates: 9/8, 9/14

• 24 months experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab [required]
• NO 1st time travelers, must have completed at least '1' travel contract in previous 12 mos.
• Equipment experience: Impella [highly preferred]
• Additional Equipment experience: Acist Injector, iFR, IVUS [highly preferred]
• Proficient with fluoroscopy [required]
• Proficiency and comfort in: peripheral and coronary angio cases [required]
• Proficiency and comfort in: PCI & pacemaker procedures [required]
• Iowa Radiology license [highly preferred] -- will accept non licensed applicants; must apply for license at offer acceptance
• ARRT or RCIS certificate [required] [document]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Cardiac Cath experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Cardiac Cath) [required]
• active Iowa Radiology license at time of submission [highly preferred] [document] -- can apply at time of acceptance
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver's License [document] [required]
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client ACLS; advance cardiac life support [document] [required]
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS; basic life support [document] [required]
• ARRT or CCI - RCIS [document] [required]
