We are seeking a Project Assistant in our San Diego Office. Responsibilities Personnel Create and submit New Hire paperwork for Craft/Field (onboarding and offboarding) Process terminations/separation documents for Craft/Field Upload and update employee data such as Union Pay Upgrades, tax forms, etc. Ability to run E‑Verify Assist project safety staff and IT with coordinating equipment for project staff Support project needs Follow up on project purchase orders / change orders Request delivery tickets Scan/file as needed Support craft as needed Payroll Receive timesheets from field and enter them in the system Verify cost codes and hours are accurate Enter hours and verify with reports hours are entered correctly Qualifications High School Diploma required 3-5 years of administrative support experience, preferably in engineering or construction Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication Intermediate computer skills utilizing Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Strong organizational and time management skills Strong work ethic Ability to function as a team builder/player The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide‑ranging climates and environments Bilingual in Spanish preferred Additional Benefits Offered By OHLA USA Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Short‑ and Long‑Term Disability & Life Insurance 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Tuition Reimbursement after 1 year of employment Personal Time Off Program (PTO) Engaging work environment To learn more about OHLA USA, visit our website Compensation: The base hourly rate being offered for this position is USD $25.00 per hour to USD $30.00 per hour. Please note that the salary range listed is specific to the role listed in California. Hourly rates may vary for different individuals in the same role based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and performance.
