Position: In-Shop Service Technician
We are looking for a motivated and dependable In-Shop Service Technician to join our service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing trailers, equipment, and related products in our shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and trailer-related issues.
- Install and repair brakes, axles, lights, wiring, suspension components, and other trailer systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication when needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment and determine necessary repairs.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly document work performed and parts used.
- Communicate with the service manager and customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or service experience preferred.
- Trailer, automotive, heavy equipment, or agricultural equipment experience is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Welding/fabrication experience is a plus.
- Must have your own basic hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
- Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
