Shift: 08:30 AM - 17:30 PM (M-F) with a 1-hour meal break. No call or weekend requirements.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Years of Experience: 1
• Certifications: ARRT N*, BLS, NMTCB*
• Skills: Adult*, GE*, PET Scan*, Starting and maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, fdg whole body and skull to thigh

Facility & Patient Care Details:

• Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 5
• Number of Rooms: 1
• Interdisciplinary Support: Interpretation Services, Radiology

Travel Compliance:

• No RTO within the first two weeks of an assignment
• Max 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred
• Valid CA State License required in-hand when applying
• Certifications: All required certs must be in-hand when applying
• CPI REQUIREMENT: All ER nurses MUST have a CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute IN-HAND when applying
• All Float Pool nurses must get a CPI Blue Card
• EPIC experience required must be noted in travelers work history as well
• References: Two (2) Supervisor references required when applying
• Local Rules: Locals accepted at the same rate
• Return Staff Policy: Must be gone a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler
• Interview: Manager may or may not interview. Traveler must be OK with this
• Modules: Modules are billable, average 4-8 hours spent on modules. Any time spent on modules after orientation (ex: annual) are non-billable. Modules are completed during orientation (or at home post-start if not completed onsite) and annually, and module hours vary by specialty. Modules are self-reported
