Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certification with a Visually Impaired endorsement
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Prior experience supporting students who are blind or have low vision, preferably in itinerant roles
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Flexibility to travel between school sites within the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students across multiple school campuses
• Adapt curriculum materials and classroom environments to students' needs
• Collaborate closely with general and special education staff, families, and support professionals
• Monitor student progress and update individualized education plans (IEPs) as required
• Empower students to gain independence and achieve their academic goals
