Schedule: Per Diem PRN

Shift: Day (United States of America)

Location: Apopka Outpatient Imaging 1480 W. Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka FL 32712

Job Description:

• Attends department meetings and engages in positive dialogue to support department objectives.
• Obtains high-quality scans by following proper exam protocols and adapting procedures to each patient's medical situation.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Confirms patient and exam accuracy using two patient identifiers before administering exams.
• Performs, documents, and reports all procedures in accordance with departmental policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular, and Interventional Sonographic procedures
• Ability to learn and master new tasks related to the computer and AGFA Pacs system
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
• Ability to function independently with little or no supervision
• Ability to read and write legibly in English and perform basic mathematics skills

Education:

• High School Grad or equivalent [Required]
• Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 2+ years experience in vascular sonography [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer RDMS (AB) [Required]
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with OB/GYN Spec (RDMS-OBGYN) [Required]
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR Registered Technologist – Vascular Sonography RT(VS)(ARRT) [Required] OR Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required]
• Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range: $28.97 – $53.88
