Location: Seaboard, NC (on-site) If needed, relocation will be provided. Salary Range $110k + Bonus up to 15%. Full benefits start on Day 1.

Job Overview: This is a hands-on EHS Supervisor role supporting a manufacturing site, with a strong focus on employee safety and health. You’ll spend time on the production floor working closely with employees and leadership to identify hazards, lead safety programs and training, support incident investigations, and help strengthen the site’s safety culture. The role also supports environmental compliance, so knowledge of Title V/Clean Air Act, stormwater, wastewater, and waste management is important. They’re looking for someone who can be a visible, hands-on EHS resource and take ownership of safety initiatives across the site. This position requires prior hands-on Health & Safety (HS) or EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Reporting to the Mill General Manager, the EHS Supervisor leads the facility’s safety, health, and environmental programs, with a strong focus on hands-on safety leadership. This position works closely with employees and plant leadership to identify hazards, investigate incidents, improve safe work practices, and drive a strong safety culture throughout the mill. Also ensures compliance and reporting of all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and continuously improve site safety and health programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA General Industry standards and company requirements.
• Spend significant time on the production floor, working with employees and leaders to identify hazards and improve safe work practices.
• Lead/support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and claims management.
• Facilitate safety training and serve as a knowledgeable EHS resource for employees and leadership.
• Manage EHS reporting, OSHA recordkeeping, safety metrics, and incident/action tracking through the site’s EHS management system - Intelex.
• Support first aid/triage, hearing conservation, health screenings, and other employee health programs.
• Support site environmental compliance, including applicable Title V/Clean Air Act, stormwater, wastewater, and waste-management requirements, in partnership with regional environmental resources.
• Lead by example and promote a proactive, engaged safety culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hands-on Health & Safety or EHS experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements and experience leading effective safety programs.
• Experience with incident investigations, hazard identification, corrective actions, safety training, and employee engagement.
• Working knowledge and/or experience with environmental compliance, including Title V/Clean Air Act, stormwater, wastewater, and waste management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training/presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with EHS/safety management systems is preferred.
