Client Services Representative

Hometown Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic is looking for a Client Services Representative!

A Client Relations Specialist is an in-hospital position that performs check-in, check-out and basic receptionist duties. A typical day would include: answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling and confirming appointments, performing payment transactions, placing outbound calls, filing insurance claims, obtaining medical records, and other tasks. This position is requires computer proficiency, an outgoing personality, world class customer service and occasional weekend availability.

No medical or veterinary experience required! We're willing to teach the right candidates.

We welcome both full-time and part-time applicants.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Greet clients and their pets
• Make outbound calls to clients
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Prepare forms and estimates for appointments
• Process payments, including cash, credit, and CareCredit
• Submit insurance claims and follow-up to ensure payments are received
• Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service
• Inform clients about products and services offered

Qualifications

• Prior phone or customer service experience required
• Prior veterinary experience preferred, but not required
• High school diploma or relevant work experience required
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent typing and computer skills
• Familiarity with Avimark is a plus!
• Bilingual applicants welcomed!

• 4x 10 hour shift or 5x 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
