Location: Tulsa, OK (Refinery/Industrial Construction Site)
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift with Overtime as Required

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Carpenter / Concrete Finisher to join our industrial construction team. This position is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing concrete forms, placing and finishing concrete, and supporting civil construction activities in a refinery and heavy industrial environment. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.

Essential Job Duties

• Build, set, and strip concrete forms for foundations, slabs, curbs, walls, and structural concrete.
• Construct and install wood and metal forming systems.
• Place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools.
• Perform screeding, floating, edging, jointing, and trowel finishing.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Install anchor bolts, embeds, and reinforcing materials as directed.
• Assist with excavation, grading, and layout activities.
• Maintain proper concrete curing practices and quality standards.
• Operate small equipment and construction tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow all site safety regulations, permits, and refinery requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Civil Carpenter, Concrete Finisher, or related trade.
• Experience working in industrial, refinery, petrochemical, power generation, or heavy construction environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, and form construction.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• NCCER Civil Carpenter certification or equivalent.
• Refinery, petrochemical, or industrial plant experience.
• Ability to operate skid steers, telehandlers, or other construction equipment.
• Current TWIC Card.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Safety Council training.
