The St. James is seeking Membership Ambassadors at its health club located in Bethesda, Maryland.

Our Performance Clubs are an elite approach to health, wellness, and human performance, providing the opportunity to leverage tools utilized by professional athletes to maximize their potential namely performance training, nutrition, and recovery. In short, it's a space designed, outfitted, and programmed to allow everyone to train like an athlete. The St. James Performance Club in Bethesda will feature intentionally designed spaces, state of the art equipment and performance-based programming. We need to identify and select a team of passionate teammates who can deliver on our promise to provide excellence in all we do, including provide comprehensive results in a premium hospitality environment.

Adaptable and motivated, you thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Your background in hospitality, sales, or sports management gives you an edge in creating meaningful client relationships. You have a team mentality and thrive in a competitive team setting. What You Will Do

• Actively sell memberships, sports programs, and other services to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with members, acting as their trusted advisor.
• Conduct personalized tours and match clients with services that meet their needs.
• Onboard new members, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-notch service and experiences.
• Support member engagement and retention through ongoing communication and tailored recommendations.
• Participate in event planning and organize member-exclusive activities to foster community and connection.
• Track and report on membership growth and engagement metrics.
• Be a visible, proactive ambassador throughout the facility, ready to assist and connect.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Engage with current and potential members through personalized outreach, calls, and in-person interactions.
• Conduct tours and connect prospective members with programs tailored to their goals.
• Collaborate with Member Services, Personal Training, and Sports program teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Participate in daily team meetings to strategize and discuss feedback.
• Plan and execute internal and community-oriented events and member-focused activities to drive awareness and engagement.
• Track member interactions and manage CRM tools to monitor progress and retention.

You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have These Skills

• 2-4 years of experience in client relations, account management, or hospitality (luxury experience preferred).
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication and people skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a customer-first approach.
• A passion for sports, health, fitness, and wellness.
