Truck Shop Maintenance

Job Title

Assists and supports the Operations Manager, General Store Manager and Shift Supervisors in the execution of the entire store's operations; including providing brand compliance, understanding the customer experience cycle, providing superior customer service to both trucking and travelling customer, keeping pumps, lot and grounds clean, merchandising, pricing, active participation in the CFI expectations, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all company policy/store standards.

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Ensure each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, including greeting, and acknowledging every guest, utilizing suggestive selling techniques, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services.
• Perform exterior maintenance and cleaning. Including, but not limited to:
• Sweeping Parking Lot
• Grounds upkeep
• Emptying trash and restocking supplies
• Cleaning fuel dispensers and exterior fixtures (ice machine, air pump, propane cages, bollards etc.)
• Cleaning front windows inside and out and scrapper mats
• Power washing lot/lanes and applying concrete/asphalt cleaner, as needed.
• Perform interior maintenance and cleaning, including, but not limited to:
• Cleaning doors inside and out
• Cleaning restrooms
• Cleaning caf and eatery areas (where applicable)
• Sweeping, mopping, steam cleaning floors/fixtures and scrubbing floors
• Dusting/Cleaning of shelves and equipment, as needed.
• Emptying trash and removing all delivery receptacles
• Perform stocking duties both on the sales floor and walk-in cooler.
• Check in vendor deliveries according to company policy.
• Through understanding of the daily/weekly cleaning list and schedules.
• Develop knowledge of our Point of Sale and front register processes, as well as our kitchen operations.
• Follow all company polices, state and federal laws.
• Follows Incident Reporting Instructions and reports any safety concerns or related incidents timely.
• Maintain professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code policy.
• Maintains professional communication and demeanor with vendors, team members and guests.
• Team Player and ability to embrace change.
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to learn and utilize the store's computer applications as required.
• Exceptional customer service with superior relationship building.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Reliable transportation is required.
