Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid credentials or certification required for Special Education teaching
• Demonstrated experience with early childhood or PreK students strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Head Start program standards is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for partnering with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to create and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instructional support to a small caseload of four early learners
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with other educators and families
• Cultivate an inclusive, nurturing classroom to foster social, emotional, and academic growth
• Engage actively with Head Start and PreK program goals, ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices
• Participate in team and staff meetings as well as ongoing training opportunities
