Medical Technologist ASCP - LaboratoryCity/State: Statesboro, GeorgiaShift: 10 Hour Nights, 20:00-06:30, Mon-ThursContract Length: 13 weeksStart Date: 08/03/2026Job Description:Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor.Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples.Analyze test results for accuracy and critical limits.Follow standardized procedures for sample preparation and testing.Requirements:2+ years of experience required plus at least 2 previous travel assignments completed successfully.ASCP or AMT certification required.Blood bank experience required.Preferred experience with Beckman Hematology, ACL Top Coag, BB gel testing, Beckman Chemistry analyzers with DXA automation.Cerner experience preferred.
