Gynecologic Oncologist

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time position in the Clinician Educator Academic Line at open rank (Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor); rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The candidate must have an MD, DO or equivalent, fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The position will be located at Stanford Health Care’s Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton, located in Northern California’s thriving East Bay about 40 miles from the Stanford Palo Alto campus.

The Stanford Gynecologic Oncology Service at the Tri-Valley Hospital in Pleasanton provides the full spectrum of patient care including the administration of systemic therapy. The primary duties for this position include providing outstanding clinical care, teaching, and participation in clinical trials. We seek a candidate who is hard working, enthusiastic about patient care, and interested in blended community and academic medicine. Beyond the expected participation in our clinical trial activities, we provide opportunities for translational research in our Division and within the extensive network of scientific collaborations at Stanford.

The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.

Salary Range

The expected base pay range for this position is:

Assistant Professor $362,000 – $386,000

Associate Professor $431,000 – $455,000

Professor $488,000 - $509,000

This pay range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty compensation program or pay from participation in departmental incentive compensation programs.
