Press Internships

The Office of Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.) seeks a motivated, organized, and hardworking press intern for our Washington, DC office in Fall 2026. Your duties may include compiling daily news clips, maintaining and updating press lists, transcribing and processing audio, monitoring the news for relevant developments, drafting and editing written materials such as press releases, advisories, and newsletters, creating engaging digital content including graphics, videos, and social media copy, and supporting the communications team, including at events. Successful candidates will possess excellent written and oral communication skills, a willingness to contribute to a team environment, and an eagerness to learn about communications, the political process, and congressional affairs. Delaware ties are strongly preferred.
