General Manager - Restaurant

Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality food delivery. Work with Kitchen Manager to ensure food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling meet safety standards and quality expectations. Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling. Oversee inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction initiatives. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training, and performance evaluations. Handle shift management responsibilities including scheduling, customer service oversight, and resolving guest concerns promptly. Conduct food safety audits, manage food production processes, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Analyze profit and loss statements to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. Implement budgeting strategies while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards. Lead team meetings to communicate goals, recognize achievements, and foster a positive work environment. Experience Proven management experience in quick service or fast food restaurants with a strong background in food service management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management. Hands-on experience with POS systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Experience with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and staff training & development. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams through training sessions and performance reviews. Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and regulatory compliance within the food industry.
