The purpose of the Plant CI Specialist role is to support the deployment of the Ardagh Metal production system (AMPS) at the site level, contributing to the achievement of operational goals through the application of Lean/Six sigma tools and AMPS concepts. Key responsibilities include identifying and supporting performance improvement opportunities—such as ODM reduction, spoilage control, cost optimization, and productivity gains—through the practical application of AMPS tools and methodologies. The role also involves coaching teams, promoting lean thinking, and embedding a culture of sustainable improvement across the plant. Through the use of AMPS tools, data analysis, and structured problem-solving, the specialist ensures that improvement activities deliver measurable and lasting results, enabling operational excellence and driving performance improvements aligned with site and organizational objectives.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience (7+ years) in manufacturing continuous improvement in a high-speed production environment. Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred. Project management skills applying both Lean and Six Sigma, proficiency in MS Office tools, and a strong understanding of production systems are essential. A data-driven mindset with strong ability to understand plant's technologies and processes is also required. Experience in working within a manufacturing environment for at least 3 years, experience in deploying Lean/Six Sigma principles for a minimum of 1 year, and experience in facilitating training/coaching are necessary.
