Licensure: Licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in Iowa; RN licensure required

Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $110/hour

What You'll Do

• Provide diagnostic assessments, prescribe pharmacological treatments, and develop non-pharmacological strategies for patients with behavioral health conditions.
• Interpret biopsychosocial data to inform clinical decisions.
• Educate patients about medication use, monitor treatment progress, and review lab results.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including treatment plans, medication documentation, and patient interactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to coordinate care.
• Respond to utilization management and quality of care requests.
• Serve as a trusted resource and advocate for clients with mental health needs.

What You Need

Required:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Valid Iowa RN license and ARNP licensure in Iowa
• Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or accepted certifying body
• At least 3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Knowledge of mental health assessment, psychotropic medications, and state mental health laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Strong ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
• Ability to maintain composure under stress
