Position Description:

Banner Defense is looking for a talented C3BM Principal Systems Analyst to join our team! In this role you will be a part of the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts, engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs. You will participate in reviews and assessments of C2BMC engineering products and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding
• Develop, baseline, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Conduct critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and variance analysis.
• Identify potential schedule conflicts and acquisition bottlenecks; develop and recommend mitigation strategies to program leadership. Facilitate coordination between engineering, logistics, contracting, and resource management teams.
• Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
• Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
• Generate recurring and ad-hoc schedule reports, metrics, and dashboards.
• Support and interact on a daily basis with high level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sitting on-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)

Required Skills/Experience:

• Master's degree with 12+ years of related professional experience
• OR: Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of related professional experience
• Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship
• Proficiency in industry-standard scheduling tools
• Possess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct deep-dive schedule variance analysis, identify root causes of delays, and confidently propose corrective action plans to program leadership
• Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and execution

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor, and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts
