Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Location

Gadsden, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Document patient information and care accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and dress code requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Alabama RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
