The Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN provides hands-on care to emergency patients of all ages, performing rapid assessments, triage, and stabilization for a wide range of acute and complex conditions. This nurse administers medications, initiates IV therapies, assists with diagnostic procedures, and closely monitors patients in accordance with evidence-based emergency care standards and HCA Healthcare protocols. Working in collaboration with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members, the coordinator helps develop and implement individualized care plans that prioritize safety, quality, and timely treatment.
In addition to direct patient care, the James Island ER Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes a visible leadership role on each shift, often functioning as charge nurse.
