Physician Neonatology - Competitive Salary

Job Description AdventHealth for Children is looking for dynamic, innovative, and energetic PRN neonatologists at our units in Central Florida as we are continuing to grow and expand our services to better care for the children in our communities. The Neonatologist practice with AdventHealth Medical Group has dedicated teams of physicians that cover our campuses across Central Florida. Depending on the location, the schedule could include both restricted (in house) and unrestricted call (on call within the hospital’s required response time for emergencies). Level 4 – AdventHealth for Children, Orlando Level 3 – AdventHealth Tampa Level 2 – AdventHealth Celebration, AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, AdventHealth Ocala, AdventHealth Daytona Beach, AdventHealth Winter Park, Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center Our Neonatologists are part of a larger group of neonatologists that are part of AdventHealth for Children Orlando. Our regional network includes a delivery volume of approximately 15,000 births per year. We have a dedicated Neonatal transport team and are supported by experienced Pediatric Subspecialists. Requirements: The new physician joining the group should be board certified in pediatrics and board certified/eligible through the Sub-Board of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Practice Description This is an employment opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group, a 900 physician, multi-specialty organization. Hospital Description Our Walt Disney Pavilion at AdventHealth for Children is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 30 peds ICU beds with a dedicated peds CICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid organ transplants including kidney and liver, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. Our unparalleled network consists of 30 hospitals across the state with one children’s hospital at the center totals over 23,000 births and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics. These 30 hospitals refer patients for tertiary and quaternary services to our main location near downtown Orlando. Our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida.
