Forklift Operator – Multiple Equipment Operator

Position Title: Forklift Operator – Multiple Equipment Operator
Pay Rate: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Must be available for overtime as needed
Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends as needed

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator with experience operating multiple types of material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, storing, and staging materials while maintaining productivity and accuracy. Candidates must be flexible with overtime and weekend work based on business needs.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of material handling equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Sit-Down Forklift
  • Stand-Up Reach Truck
  • Electric Pallet Jack
  • Cherry Picker/Order Picker
    
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Move products to designated warehouse locations accurately and efficiently.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Inspect equipment before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety policies, and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations while ensuring safe operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Experience operating multiple pieces of warehouse equipment required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be dependable with good attendance.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.

Schedule & Availability Requirements

• Regular shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Must be available for overtime as needed and will mandatory 
• Must be available to work weekends as required by business demands

Compensation

• $17.00 per hour
• Overtime paid in accordance with applicable federal and state laws
