Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Cheraw, SC Specialty: COTA Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1173 - $1413 | Shift: 5x8 Days Are you a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives? Do you excel in environments where you can help individuals regain their independence? Join our team and provide essential occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your expertise will help patients develop and restore functional independence, making a real difference in their daily lives. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:
- Implement therapy interventions per the Occupational Therapist's plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient and family education
- Communicate patient status to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills
- Need 1 year experience in setting
