Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. This role is essential to ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients during their hospital stay.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, vital signs, and any changes in health status.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Assist patients with daily activities and support their emotional and physical needs.
• Educate patients and families about discharge instructions and follow-up care.

Schedule

This position involves a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent med-surg nursing experience.
• Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from the facility.
