Golf Course Bartender

As a Golf Course Bartender, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall experience for our golfers by providing exceptional beverage service at our clubhouse bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of mixology. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Ensuring timely and accurate service to enhance the overall customer experience.

• Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
• Adhering to recipes and maintaining high standards of quality in beverage preparation.
• Monitoring and replenishing bar supplies to meet customer demand.

• Handling cash and processing transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Providing customers with correct change and maintaining a secure cash drawer.

• Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage handling.

• Collaborating with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service.
• Communicating effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

• Engaging with customers, building rapport, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Proactively addressing customer concerns and providing solutions when necessary.

• Promoting specials, events, and promotions to encourage upselling and increase revenue.
• Maintaining knowledge of current promotions and menu offerings.

• Following established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Upholding legal and ethical standards related to the service of alcoholic beverages.

• Previous bartending experience, preferably in a golf course or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage service.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
