Psychiatrist - Addiction Services (29868)

We are looking for a Psychiatrist – Addiction Services to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health located in South Brooklyn, NY. Opportunity Details Provide clinical care for patients in the outpatient addiction clinic and opioid treatment program. Diagnose substance use disorders and non‑substance related addiction disorders and recommend treatment that considers levels of care criteria. Assist medical leadership with Quality Assurance and Process Improvement projects as needed. Teach and train fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on addiction services, as well as preparing didactic presentations as needed. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (required). Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry (preferred). Active New York State Medical License. Wages and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $267,900 (board eligible); $278,200 (board certified) for a 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Estimated Total Compensation: $438,690 (board eligible) and $450,020 (board certified) including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours and other factors. Additional Compensation: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $104,000. Projected bonus up to $40,000 based on meeting quality and productivity targets. Retirement and Savings: 401(k) company contribution: 3% immediately vested of base earnings; after one year of service an additional 7% of base earnings.
