Key Responsibilities of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit Travel

Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients
Manage patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Operate specialized ICU equipment such as balloon pumps and rapid infusers
Float to different units including ED, Stepdown, and Med Surg as needed

Requirements of the RN ICU Intensive Care Unit Travel

Active NH or Compact RN license
BLS & ACLS certifications required
ICU experience of 2-3 years
Preferred certifications such as TNCC, PALS, CCRN
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred but not required
