Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with patient assessments, and administering medications in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adults and geriatrics with various diagnoses, including Congestive Heart Failure and Respiratory Failure.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, particularly after heart catheterizations and vascular procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as per prescribed protocols.
• Perform charting and documentation in the Allscripts system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage and monitor specialized equipment such as BiPAP/CPAP and IV drips.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
• Current RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, cardiac telemetry, and interpretation of dysrhythmias preferred.
