This role will support projects within the healthcare sector and offers the opportunity to lead complex initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and client stakeholders.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee healthcare-related furniture, renovation, and interior build-out projects from planning through final installation. This individual will serve as a key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution, maintaining project schedules, and delivering a high level of client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, and a background in construction, design, commercial furniture, or related industries. This position also provides mentorship and guidance to junior project management staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from initial planning and kickoff through installation, completion, and final project closeout.
• Coordinate activities among internal teams, contractors, installers, vendors, and client representatives.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
• Conduct site visits, field assessments, measurements, and installation oversight as needed.
• Monitor project performance and proactively address risks, delays, or scope changes.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Track and administer change orders while ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Review project contracts and service agreements to ensure compliance with obligations and deliverables.
• Prepare project plans, schedules, and supporting documentation for project execution.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and clients regarding project status and progress.
• Mentor and support junior project management team members.
• Foster strong client relationships through responsive communication and problem resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes and team performance.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience within construction, commercial furniture, interiors, design, or related industries.
• Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects with varying levels of complexity.
• Background in healthcare environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, clients, contractors, and leadership groups.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
