Essential Duties and Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems for CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber optic, and coaxial cables , ensuring proper documentation and compliance with industry standards. Build, install, and maintain MDFs and IDFs , including racks, patch panels, wire management systems, and network hardware, while troubleshooting low voltage cable systems . Perform cable pulling, suspension, fireproofing, termination, and testing in accordance with BICSI standards, NEC, and local regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Deliver exceptional customer service , maintain professionalism and strong communication skills to resolve technical issues and provide solutions. Ensure high-quality, organized, and professional workmanship on all installations to meet project specifications and exceed customer expectations. Travel to job sites anywhere within your state, may also be required to travel within the USA Tech 1: Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools; ability to lift/carry/setup a 50 pound box or ladder Must own low voltage tools ( strippers, screwdrivers, wrenches) Able to work 2nd /3rd shift, overtime, and under pressure. Must pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and physical. Requires valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance Commercial construction experience preferred Tech 2: all above requirements plus a minimum 2 year of commercial low voltage installation experience: Able to terminate a jack, pull cable and “work a 90” proficiently with limited supervision.
