Required Skills / Certs / Exp: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Yrs CC experience. Traveler Experience: no first time travelers Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Accepted at same rate for this need. Must have CVICU experience or open heart experience. Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Isolation Precautions/PPE, Certs: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Preferred Skills/Certs Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Ventilator Management
Job Details: Target Ratios: 1:1 night, 2:1 wknd Shift: DAYS 06:45-19:15 36 or 48 hours can be offered. Will accept 13-26 week contracts. Float Requirement: Yes. Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend.
