Licensed Practical Nurse - South Mountain Restoration Center (2nd & 3rd shift)

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position plays an important role in supporting residents in a long term care setting by providing direct care and communication. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties: Resident Care: Provide daily care including assistance with activities of daily living, skin care, meals, and routine tasks Clinical Support: Record vital signs and resident responses, follow medication policies, and carry out physicians orders accurately Communication: Share important resident information with the nursing team and use clear and respectful communication techniques Safety Practices: Follow infection control steps, use proper equipment, and maintain awareness of safety and security procedures Teamwork: Work under supervision, assist coworkers, and respond to direction in a positive and flexible manner Interested in learning more? Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, 30-minute lunch), or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, no lunch). Rotating on and off duty days. Working weekends and holidays in accordance with assigned schedule. Overtime and travel as needed. Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $ 68,914 (before taxes). QUALIFICATIONS

Necessary Special Requirements This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Other Requirements PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. If you are within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license.
