CT Technologist II

Role Overview This position involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and adhering to regulatory standards. The technologist executes clinical competencies across locations, selecting appropriate technical factors, and demonstrating age-appropriate care. Responsibilities include performing IV access, contrast administration, assisting with invasive procedures, and maintaining equipment. The role emphasizes participation in performance improvement initiatives, patient education, and effective communication to coordinate patient care and flow. Maintaining a clean, safe environment and documentation in electronic health records are essential. The technologist must act professionally, uphold ethical standards, and apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and CT principles. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent; RT certification in Radiologic Technology and CT required Less than 1 year (or 6 months) of CT experience required; successful completion of CT training preferred Licenses: ARRT in Radiography and CT, or NMTCB/other recognized certifications Experience with CT scanning, with 10+ years for internal candidates prior to specific date Certifications: BLS/CPR, radiation safety, and other regulatory requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr
