Dietary Aides/Server | Part-Time

Location: 11239 Berry Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20603 Job Duties Courtly serve resident and guest meals Clean‑up and reset dining room after meal service Assist residents when placing orders from menu Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea) Re‑fill salt/pepper/sugar bowls prior to and after each meal Report broken equipment or tableware to supervisor Understand sit‑down service and proper serving techniques Have basic understanding of food preparation (salads, desserts, etc.) Know proper food storage and labeling techniques Sweep, mop, and vacuum kitchen and dining room Attend required in‑services and staff meetings Complete all other duties assigned Be attentive to special needs of residents (mobility deficits, memory impairment, etc.) Assist with tray service Follow confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information Interact in a polite, considerate manner with residents, guests, co‑workers and supervisors Requirements Wear clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene Read and follow simple instructions Perform simple, repetitive tasks Learn quickly and apply learned principles Communicate effectively and work under close supervision Bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects Stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet Be organized and willing to work well with other team members Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits 401k Full‑time & part‑time benefits packages Training, development & career laddering Great work‑life balance Flexible scheduling Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other legally protected status.
