Key Responsibilities of the Portfolio Manager
- Support the development and launch of new investment strategies and products
- Manage portfolio construction, asset allocation, and rebalancing activities
- Oversee risk management including liquidity, concentration, and performance tracking
- Prepare and present investment commentary, performance analysis, and attribution reporting
- Partner with leadership on investment committee discussions and strategic direction
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to support investor communications and due diligence
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall investment team development
Qualifications for the Portfolio Manager
- 10+ years of experience in asset management or a related field
- 5+ years of direct portfolio management experience
- CFA designation required
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, portfolio construction, and quantitative strategies
- Experience with ETFs, mutual funds, or similar investment vehicles
- Proficiency with financial data platforms and portfolio analytics tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to leadership and clients
