ESE Program Specialist

ESE Program Specialist Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience) Master's degree in Exceptional Student Education, Reading, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, Counseling, Psychology, or selected core subject area 6-12 (English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies). Four years of experience as a special education teacher, writing individual educational plans and facilitating professional learning, an understanding of instructional design, and experience utilizing web-based data systems and spreadsheets with a variety of technology applications required. Proficiency in designing and delivering high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers and instructional support staff. Ability to plan and facilitate a group to achieve desired outcomes in working collectively to implement instructional change. Florida Teacher Certification in Exceptional Student Education required. Bachelors degree and/or Master's degree required. FL DOE ESE K-12 certification required. Applicant must be in approved ESE Program Specialist pool. Four years of experience as an Exceptional Student Education teacher (two of which may include verified ESE cluster experience). Preferred (Education/Experience) Master's degree preferred.
