TLC, The Treatment and Learning Centers, is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our interdisciplinary outpatient team in Rockville, Maryland for part-time opportunities. This position offers the opportunity to provide psychological assessment, counseling, consultation, and collaboration within a well-established nonprofit organization serving neurodiverse individuals and their families.

Our psychologists work closely with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educational diagnosticians, counselors, and educators to support individuals and families across the lifespan. The Treatment and Learning Centers (TLC) is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1950. It is an interdisciplinary organization. Each year, TLC's programs serve more than 2,000 neurodiverse individuals with a wide range of special needs. We use a holistic and strengths-based approach that considers needs in the home, at work or school, and in the community, working across disciplines to address the needs of the whole person.

Hourly Rate of $38 - $50, depending on experience, schedule, and licensure

Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations across the lifespan, from toddlers through older adults
• Assessing concerns related to autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive functioning, emotional and behavioral functioning, and developmental differences
• Writing comprehensive reports and providing feedback to families and schools
• Providing individual, family, and/or group counseling services
• Consulting and collaborating with other professionals within TLC's interdisciplinary programs
• Participating in case consultation and collaborative treatment planning
• Providing supervision and mentoring opportunities based on experience and licensure level

Qualifications for the Psychologist:
Required:

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Counseling Psychology
• Current Maryland psychology license
• Experience conducting psychological assessments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and/or families
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

Preferred:

• Experience evaluating autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities
• Interest in working with neurodiverse populations
• Experience with or interest in play therapy and working with younger children

Schedule Expectations
TLC Hours of Operation:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Part-time clinicians must be available for at least one evening or Saturday shift per week.
