Senior Test Systems Engineer – Tucson, AZ The Senior Test Systems Engineer coordinates across engineering teams to define, design, and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements. The role requires a systems thinker able to see the “big picture” with in-depth knowledge of development, production, User Operations, and embedded test processes and practices. It involves leading the definition and influence of how prime hardware will be tested at all levels, from component to All-Up-Round, to ensure robustness and efficiency. Qualifications Minimum bachelor’s degree in STEM fields and five (5) years of prior relevant engineering experience, or an advanced degree with three (3) years of relevant experience. Experience in Systems Engineering with emphasis on test requirements development, test methodologies, and test integration for verification and validation. Proficiency in developing, decomposing, and managing system requirements across a product lifecycle. Knowledge of Model-Based Engineering processes and tools (e.g., Rhapsody, IBM Rational Model Manager, Cameo Systems Modeler) and understanding of SysML. Experience with test activities throughout the product lifecycle. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret). Preferred Qualifications Experience developing Integrated Test and Evaluation Plans. Familiarity with Systems Engineering standard views (Block Definition Diagrams, Context Diagrams, Use Case, Sequence, Activity). Knowledge of embedded test techniques, design‑for‑test, margin analysis, and manufacturing. Experience with Agile processes and Dynamic Object‑Oriented Requirements System (DOORS). Experience in developmental, environmental, qualification, production, manufacturing, and operations testing. Systems integration, test execution, and test results documentation experience. Problem‑solving and debugging skills; ability to recognize areas of improvement and communicate opportunities to senior staff. Experience working with customers, end users, hardware and software design teams. Security Clearance U.S. citizenship is required. Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to the start date. Location Tucson, AZ (Onsite) Benefits Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Possibility of annual short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation.
