El Dorado Hills, CA | Full-time | $26–$30/hour, depending on experience
Office-based with local client visits
Schedule: M-F 7:30 AM - 4 PM w/ 30 min lunch & evening/weekend or on-call expectations.


Operations Manager Pay and benefits

  • $26–$30/hour, depending on experience.

  • Hourly, nonexempt employment with overtime pay when applicable.

Right at Home Folsom Lake provides nonmedical home care for seniors and adults who need help with daily activities. We’re looking for an organized, dependable Operations Manager to help coordinate care, support caregivers, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

You’ll work directly with the owners and alongside our administrative support team. This is an active role that combines office work, conversations with families, caregiver support, and visits to clients’ homes.

What you’ll do as Operations Manager

  • Coordinate daily operations, set priorities, and follow through on outstanding tasks.

  • Respond to prospective clients, explain our services, and help arrange assessments and care starts.

  • Support caregiver scheduling and resolve coverage issues with the team.

  • Interview applicants and coordinate hiring, onboarding, and orientation.

  • Maintain accurate client and employee records and track required documentation.

  • Check in with clients and families, address concerns, and keep the owners informed.

  • Conduct nonmedical care-needs assessments, reassessments, and quality assurance visits after training.

  • Coach caregivers and help resolve concerns about care, communication, or performance.

  • Occasionally provide hands-on caregiver coverage after completing required registration, screening, and training.

  • Use WellSky, Apploi, Zoho CRM, and Microsoft 365 to coordinate work, track activity, and prepare reports.

  • Help improve office procedures as the agency grows.

What we’re looking for in the Operations Manager

  • Experience coordinating office operations, schedules, client services, or staff.

  • Clear communication and a calm, practical approach to solving problems.

  • Strong organization and consistent follow-through.

  • Confidence learning software and maintaining accurate records.

  • Good judgment when handling confidential information and deciding when to involve the owners.

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation for local visits.

  • Ability to meet applicable background screening and home care requirements.

Home care experience and supervisory experience are strongly preferred. We will also consider candidates with relevant experience in senior care, healthcare administration, or another service business.
