Role Overview STS Technical Services is hiring IFR Pilots to serve as EC135 Captains in Palestine, Texas, joining a life-saving aviation team supporting air medical transport operations with a strong focus on safety, precision and operational excellence. The IFR Pilot EC135 Captain performs line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operations Manual while safely conducting day and night air medical missions under CAMTS guidelines in SPIFR and NVG environments. The role supports 24-hour operations with rotating day and night shifts and requires professionalism, sound judgement and a commitment to patient, crew and community safety. About the Operation Air medical transport operations under CAMTS guidelines Aircraft: EC135 SPIFR / NVG operations; instrument rating required 24-hour operations with rotating day and night shifts Strong safety culture focused on operational excellence Key Responsibilities Perform line pilot duties in accordance with the General Operations Manual Safely conduct day and night air medical missions Assist with loading and unloading patients and medical equipment as required Support Safety Management System initiatives and safety campaigns Participate in community outreach programmes Provide professional and courteous service to internal and external customers Licences & Qualifications Commercial Helicopter Rating Instrument Helicopter Rating First Class Medical Certificate Experience CAMTS minimum flight time requirements: 2,000 total flight hours 1,500 helicopter hours 1,000 PIC helicopter hours 500 turbine helicopter hours 100 hours unaided night, or 50 hours unaided night plus 100 hours NVG 75 hours instrument time (actual and hood) Requirements Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated internal and external customer service skills Must meet the flight personnel weight restriction of 235 lbs or less Must pass a pre-placement physical and functional capacity exam, including lifting up to 100 lbs Drug screening and background check Interview and acceptance by management Must be legally authorised to work in the United States What We Offer Sign-on bonus up to $50,000 Competitive base compensation Shift bonuses and shift incentives Annual safety bonus and annual employee bonus Comprehensive benefits package Off-duty housing provided Additional Information Schedule and location: based in Palestine, Texas on a 7&7 schedule.
